The Rolling Stones Urge Fans To Ask Them Questions On New You Tube Site

The Rolling Stones

The Rolling Stones have teamed up with You Tube for a special Stones music channel on the website to promote their new Martin Scorsese-directed concert film Shine A Light, rollingstone.com reports.

A statement announcing the site said, "By visiting youtube.com/livinglegends, viewers will be able to upload footage of themselves asking their questions to Mick Jagger and/or Keith Richards. The best questions will be personally answered, with the footage of the Rolling Stones available to watch exclusively on this new YouTube channel in a few weeks'time."

Fans are being encouraged to ask about the new concert film or as well as "any other burning questions."

The site features new video introductions from Jagger and Richards, selections from Shine A Light, recent live clips from the band, and vintage videos.

Mick Jagger says that although the process of making Shine A Light was a positive experience, it was not without the pressures that accompany making a major motion picture: "It was fantastically enjoyable. In other ways, you know, it's very nerve-wracking for us because we know we have to do something on the night. So it was quite a challenge -- talking about having fun, it's great fun to do but it's also a challenge for everyone to come up with the goods on the night and after it."
